Mixed Pairs 19th June 2016 2

The trophy was won by Fiona and Derek Anderson who played steady golf, and scored a fine net score of 72, narrowly beating Club Captain Campbell Leggat and his partner Tricia Chillas into second place. Who were clubhouse leaders for the whole afternoon, with a gross 81, net 74.  Fiona drove the ball particularly well with her new driver, and holed a number of important putts.  Whilst Derek’s game improved after a poor start, hitting his fairway woods well.  Despite playing in the worst of the weather, the conditions did not affect their form! They were presented with a beautiful silver trophy and vouchers from the Pro Shop.

The longest drive winners were  Moneena Peebles ( 11th hole) and Graham Oxburgh (18th hole) , who each took home a bottle of wine.
