Stirling Golf Course is able to offer a range of options for membership.

We are also pleased to announce that Gents are offered a series of alternative days in which to play their weekly medals so as to accommodate individual circumstances.

All medals are available for review in our fixtures book, in the online events calendar and pinned up in gent’s locker rooms.  There is an online booking system available in reception to enter for most competitions

We are always keen to welcome new members and if you contact the club secretary he will be pleased to organise an introductory round a special rates so that you can experience Stirling Golf Course for yourself.

ORDINARY MEMBERS

Ordinary Members are those who have paid a full subscription as decided at an Annual General Meeting. The number of Ordinary Members limited to 600. Ordinary Members will have reached the age of twenty eighteen years before 1st November in the financial year in which the subscription becomes payable.

FIVE DAY MEMBERS

Five Day Membership is open to candidates on the waiting list and to existing members wishing to transfer to this category of Membership and will be subject to such restrictions on play as shall be determined by the Committee Committee (essentially Monday to Friday golf – access to the clubhouse is unrestricted ; and as set out in the different section rules (see handbooks)). The numbers of five day members are limited  to 100 and they are  able to take part in the management of the Club. A five day member who chooses to remain on the waiting list for Ordinary Membership must accept Ordinary Membership when it is offered.

CHANGE TO CATEGORY

The new constitution adopted in March 2014 sub divided the Senior category into 2 based on age, the first for those  is based on members aged between 65-74 with 25 or more years continuous service who will receive 25% discount, the second  based on members 75 plus would receive 33% discount provided that they had completed 25 years service as an Ordinary Member.  

COUNTRY MEMBERS

Country Membership is open to persons whose residence for more than nine months in any membership year is outwith a radius of 100 miles from the Clubhouse. A Country Member is not able to take part in the management of the Club and is subject to such restrictions on play as set out by the Committee. Country Members who were previously full Ordinary Members and who wish to resume Ordinary Membership will be placed at the top of the waiting list.

INTERNATIONAL MEMBERS

International Membership is open to persons who are not resident in the United Kingdom. An International Member is Member is not able to take part in the management of the Club and is subject to such restrictions on play as set out by the Committee.

CLUBHOUSE MEMBERS

Cost                 £ 63.00

Clubhouse Membership is open to persons who wish to make use of the Clubhouse facilities. Such members may play golf on payment of the normal Green Fee charges or as a guest of a Member as provided for in Paragraph 12 hereof. A Clubhouse Member is not able to take part in the management of the Club. Life Members may at any time apply to transfer to Clubhouse Membership on written application to the Secretary and on such application being granted, shall not be liable for any subscription or any other charge of any kind.
