Chalmers Cup

Class 1 golfer Duncan McCallum won the Chalmers Cup by one point with a total of 41 points on Saturday. With 191 entries and in good conditions Duncan started with two birdies then dropped a shot at the third but parred his way to the ninth for an outward half of 35 shots to give him 23 points. After a shaky start at the beginning of the back nine he got himself back on track with 4 pars and a birdie at the eighteenth to win by one point.
Ian Wallace edged out Ian McDonald to win Class 2 on a count back. In Class 3 Steve Henderson Rory McKenzie and Paul Bond all returned excellent scores of 40 points.
