Stirling Golf Club arranges a variety of Open Competitions each year to promote the game of golf and encourage visitors from course-owning golf clubs to participate.
Bookings and detailed terms for our opens will be available from March each year.
The general rules which apply to all open are listed below.
All entrants must be members of course-owning Golf Clubs.
Each Open has specific requirements in terms of, for example, gender, age and handicap index and it is the responsibility of entrants to ensure they meet the criteria required to enter each individual competition.
Tee times will be available on a first-come first-served basis and must be paid in full at the time of Booking.

If all tee times are filled, a waiting list will operate and applicants can join this by contacting the Secretary either by email, at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone on 01786 464098 (option 1).
Cancellations must be made in writing to the Secretary as soon as possible. Entry fees will be refunded if cancellation is made two weeks or more before the date of the competition. No refunds will be made for cancellations made within two weeks of the date of the competition.
Stirling Golf Club reserves the right to refuse entries for any reason without explanation.
Day of Play
Entrants failing to register their attendance later than 20 minutes prior to their start-time may lose their tee-time if reserves are on standby.
Stirling Golf Club reserves the right to increase or decrease prize values at its discretion and to adjust start times by up to 30 minutes.
The Club’s Match & Handicap Committee’s decisions in all disputes shall be final.
